Go out to pismo beach and bring some beer and pop corn and watch the big class A motor coaches get stuck in the tiny river crossing. Also there is plenty of this action to be had as idiots are abound on holiday weekends. . .

The heavier it is, the more risk you take driving out onto sand, regardless of tides. And even a really heavy tow vehicle is going to have a tough time getting enough traction to help you pull it out—if anyone's even around.
